How do I find the mailbox nearest me?
On the GetMailbox homepage, tap “Share location” and allow location access to see the 10 nearest mailboxes — each with its address, pickup time, and Google directions. You can also search by road or district.
What time is mail collected from mailboxes?
Pickup times vary by mailbox, mostly between 9am and 5pm. Every mailbox here shows the pickup time announced by Chunghwa Post; the sign on the mailbox itself is authoritative.
What’s the difference between red and green mailboxes?
Red mailboxes take prompt (express) delivery and airmail (international) mail; green mailboxes take ordinary mail. For express letters, use a red mailbox — the wrong slot can delay delivery.
Do mailboxes collect mail on Sundays?
Most mailboxes don’t collect on Sundays and national holidays; some still collect on Saturdays. For urgent items, hand them in at a post office counter or post before Friday’s pickup time.
